17 days left. My plot is somewhat structured. By which I mean I have character profiles. And maybe the first few chapters planned out. And I have no idea what to do after those few chapters.

So NaNo starts in, what, three months? Yeah? I'm gonna go with three months.

And I have a plot.

Kind of.

So yeah. So I suppose I do have a plot. Or at least four characters. Or, uh...four names, anyway.

I'm done! (The blog that counts for November 17-November 24)

So I've finished! After cramming writing into every waking hour (which is why there aren't any blogs for the 17th through yesterday), and some hours that should've been sleeping hours but weren't, I have written my novel. So far it's at 50,788 words, but I haven't actually finished the story yet, so I'll be continuing it throughout the year and the first half of next year until the free copy coupon expires. And hopefully, after all the editing I'll be doing (which will be a lot), it will still be 50k.


So yeah. This has definitely been a worthwhile experience. I'm happy I did it.

Day 16

Probably won't get anything written today. I'm 10,000 words short. Crap. I need inspiration. I'll be spending most of my Thanksgiving break writing 20,000. Hopefully.

Didn't write much today. Meh.

Day 14

I didn't blog yesterday. Why? Because I didn't write.

Today, I wrote about 400 words. I boosted my count by distributing all of my contractions.

I got a working title: Aloneness. It's a working title, okay? It will most certainly change.

And a cover. Isn't it gorgeous?

Tomorrow, I will be doing the unthinkable: I will write a scene for the Traveling Shovel of Death. It shall be lengthy and epic.

Day 12

So I'm still about a week behind, but I wrote 2,000 words today, so I'm happy. But not really, since I'm still 5,000 words behind.

I really need to work on this consistency thing.
